Saturday Mornings are best for me!
NOTE:
As this is an incipient group, numbers are going to be low for some time - normal for this kind of activity anyway. Surveys of HEMA groups state that the average number of members for a club is 5. That's it. Just 5. So never doubt the legitimacy of a small group. Even two or three constitutes a group.
With the weather being what it is, chaotic and usually wet, we can retreat to Glock's home adjoining the park. It's an option should anyone in the park interfere with our training session. It's also hence a given that I meet people before doing such and we all obtain a decent level of trust and keep a stable group dynamic. We all know that common sense is essential for a harmonic existence. :-)
Usually this activity needs tons of equipment, armor, weapons, clothing, plus the typical sports stuff like water, sweat control, snacks and being close to home allows access to fixes, swap outs and try-outs of other weapons. It's impossible to carry everything to the park.
The shelter offers decent coverage should it rain
And it rains often...
